Lesley and Richard come to us ‘officially’ one day a week  from Ballymena Tech, but they both live locally and often come to work on their days off from tech and during holidays. As well as working with the wildlife they both work mainly with the dogs and are two of only four people my girls trust and allow to work with the dogs. They are both VERY hard working and a credit to themselves and their college.
When Lesley first came to us from Ballycastle High School I almost turned her down, I thinking she was a boy, we had just gone through our third consecutive useless male and my girls were getting cross with me. Within 20 minutes of her first arriving Louise offered her a placement for her college course, something unheard of from Louise, but Louise is a very good judge of people.
When Richard applied, we had no problem saying yes, his older sister used to work here and Richard would often come with her and work like a trooper - he still works like a trooper even without big sis keeping an eye on him.
