Wildlife N.I. Relies on volunteers to respond to many of our calls for help, quite often just to discover that an animal isn’t actually injured and doesn’t need our ambulance to rush 60 miles for no reason.
If you have an interest in wildlife and would like to join our team of active volunteers please fill out our online volunteer application and we’ll add you to our list of volunteers and invite you for training days.
You are also welcome to visit us at the ARRC anytime to help out.
Karen and Colin, live at the ARRC with me. Colin moved here from England because he believes in my dream. He came to visit during Christmas 2005 and returned to England to sell his small business and return, He is absolutely brilliant and can turn his hand to anything. Colin loves to be out on the road doing rescues and learning about wildlife. Both are indispensable, neither are paid for the 18 hour days that they work (7 days a week) and I honestly couldn’t have come as far as I have without them. I hope they will stay with me for many years to come and I look forward to the day when I can pay them for all their hard work.
