A lot of time and expense is saved through the wonderful network of volunteers that we have around the country, but many areas are severely lacking in cover.
If you feel you have what it takes and would like to be added to our list of volunteers please click on the link below to fill out our simple application. Volunteers can be any age from 12 upwards, but we won’t send an untrained volunteer to tackle anything we know they can’t cope with. Younger volunteers will not be asked to help without the consent of a parent or guardian and in most cases we ask that a responsible adult is present.
We need all sorts of volunteers, ranging from raving lunatics that will swing from bridges to rescue a trapped bird, to sensible people that are good with their hands or can rattle a collecting tin.
Are you a keen gardener that would like to help school children build a nature garden? Perhaps you are good with your hands and can make rescue equipment. Have you got the ‘Gift of the gab’ and would like to approach businesses regarding sponsorship. Whatever your skill, background, race, creed or color we have a niche we can fit you into.
