Boarding facilities

At the moment Wildlife N.I. Isn’t licensed to take animals for boarding, but we are upgrading our facilities so we can apply for a license. The major difference between boarding animals and keeping stray animals is the need for heating. Our kennels are of the regulation size, but we intend to construct larger kennels so that boarding animals have extra space. Our extensive outdoor runs will  will need to be partitioned and separated by windproof material to avoid the risk of contamination from any strays that may be carrying any illness.

Unlike most kennels where a dog is normally shut in at closing time, usually 5 or 6pm, our dogs have access to the outside runs as long as there is light providing it isn’t raining. We also have staff onsite 24 hours a day.

At the moment we will board only animals that we have actually rehomed because we know that they are fully covered by the required vaccinations, and then only at the owners own risk and in emergency circumstances such as the owner having to go into hospital.

For boarding enquiries you should contact Louise on 07979534023
